Our English-speaking guides, airport transfers, clean private vehicles, and curated cultural immersions are designed specifically for international travellers visiting India.

Question 5

Do you provide private vehicles?

Accepted Answer

Question 6

Do you arrange hotel bookings?

Accepted Answer

Yes. LokGujarat assists with hotel bookings across all budgets — from comfortable 3-star guesthouses to 5-star heritage resorts and luxury palace hotels. We have tie-ups with trusted properties across Gujarat, Rajasthan, Kerala, and Uttarakhand and can arrange accommodations that match your comfort level and budget.

Question 7

How can I book a tour?

Accepted Answer

You can book a tour by calling or WhatsApp-messaging us at +91-9824281928, by emailing info.lokgujarat@gmail.com, or by filling the enquiry form on our website. Our team responds within a few hours with a personalized itinerary and price quote.

Question 8

Are your tours suitable for senior citizens?

Accepted Answer

Question 9

What is the best time to visit Gujarat?

Accepted Answer

The best time to visit Gujarat is October to March, when temperatures range from 15°C to 28°C and skies are clear. The Rann Utsav festival in Kutch runs from November to February — this is the most popular season for the white salt desert. The Gir National Park closes from June 15 to October 15 each year, so plan wildlife visits accordingly.

Question 10

What is the best time to visit Rajasthan?

Accepted Answer

October to March is the ideal time to visit Rajasthan, with daytime temperatures of 20°C–30°C. The Pushkar Camel Fair (October–November) and the Jaisalmer Desert Festival (January–February) are iconic events worth planning around. Summers (April–June) can be extremely hot, reaching 45°C+, and are best avoided.

Question 11

What is the best time to visit Kerala?

Accepted Answer

September to March is the best time to visit Kerala. After the monsoon, the landscape is lush green, the backwaters are full, and beach conditions are perfect. December and January offer the most comfortable weather for Alleppey houseboat stays and Munnar hill treks. Avoid the heavy monsoon months of June–August for backwater tours.

Question 12

What is the best time to visit Uttarakhand and do the Char Dham Yatra?

Accepted Answer

The Char Dham Yatra season runs from May to June and September to October. The temples open in late April or early May (dates announced annually) and close after Diwali. Jim Corbett National Park is best visited from November to June when the grasslands are dry and tiger spotting is easier.

Question 13

Can I visit Gir National Park to see Asiatic lions year-round?

Accepted Answer

No — Gir National Park closes annually from June 16 to October 15 for the monsoon season and wildlife conservation. The best time for Gir safari and Asiatic lion sightings is November to May, when the lions are more active near water sources. Book safari permits in advance as slots fill up quickly in peak season.

Question 14

How do I reach Kedarnath Temple?

Accepted Answer

Kedarnath temple sits at 3,583 metres in the Garhwal Himalayas. The nearest major airport is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun (230 km away). From Gaurikund, the base camp, you can trek 16 km to the temple on foot, hire a pony or palanquin, or book a helicopter service from Phata or Sersi. LokGujarat arranges all transfers, accommodation, and helicopter bookings for Char Dham Yatra packages.

Question 15

Do you arrange flight or train tickets?

Accepted Answer

We primarily specialize in ground travel — private vehicles, sightseeing, and accommodation. For flights and trains, we can recommend the best options and assist with booking coordination, but the actual ticket purchase is typically done directly by the guest. We can however connect you with trusted agents who handle ticketing.

Question 16

What is the cancellation and refund policy?

Accepted Answer

Cancellations made more than 15 days before the trip receive a full refund minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellations within 7–14 days incur a 30% charge; within 48 hours, 50% is non-refundable. Force majeure situations (natural disasters, health emergencies) are handled case-by-case. Full policy details are shared at the time of booking.

Question 17

Do you offer group discounts for school or college trips?

Accepted Answer

Yes. LokGujarat offers group pricing for school trips, college excursions, corporate retreats, and pilgrimage groups of 10 or more. We handle everything from logistics and accommodation to guided heritage walks and activity planning. Call us at +91-9824281928 for a group quote.

Question 18

Do you offer Jain-friendly or vegetarian-only tours?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We offer fully Jain-friendly and vegetarian tour packages, particularly popular for Gujarat tours covering Palitana (Shatrunjaya Hill — the world's largest Jain pilgrimage site), Girnar, and the Jain temples of Ranakpur and Dilwara in Rajasthan. Strictly vegetarian and Jain-satvik meal options are arranged throughout.

Question 19

Are LokGujarat tours child-friendly?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We regularly organize family tours with children of all ages. We adjust the itinerary to include child-friendly activities — jeep safaris, camel rides, cultural craft demonstrations, and fort explorations. Hotels are selected with family rooms, and pacing is kept relaxed to avoid overexertion.

Question 20

Why should I book with LokGujarat instead of a large online travel portal?

Accepted Answer

LokGujarat is a boutique, owner-operated travel agency with deep local roots in Gujarat. Unlike portals that aggregate generic packages, we craft every itinerary from scratch, respond within hours, offer direct WhatsApp communication throughout your trip, and are personally accountable for every experience. Our 4.9-star guest rating across 500+ trips reflects the difference between local expertise and algorithmic packages.

Question 21

Is LokGujarat Tours a registered travel agency?

Accepted Answer

Yes. LokGujarat Tours is a certified tour operator registered with the Government of India, Ministry of Tourism. Founder Kaushal Raval has over 8 years of professional experience in the Indian travel industry and holds all required operating licences.

Question 22

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

We accept UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS/RTGS), credit and debit cards, and cash. For international guests and NRIs, we also accept wire transfers. A booking advance of 25–30% is typically required to confirm your itinerary and hotel reservations.
